would the 450 watt PSU that comes with the xion onyx tower be able to handle an ATI Radeon 4850 1GB GPU?
I dont really know any of the specs on the PSU, it just came with the tower. so should i sell it and buy a new one or keep it. and can it Crossfire (SLI for you nvidia people)?
ATI HD 4850 typically draws up to 110 Watts or ~ 9 amps on +12V1 rail. Most 450W dual rail PSU put out up to 14 amps on +12V rail. If you do not have too many devices on your PC, the 450W PSU should be able to handle the HD 4850.
However, if 450W PSU is a cheap one with weak single +12V rail (<25 amps) HD 4850 may not power at all OR cause frequent restarts during gaming.
