Is it important to supply enough for SLI?
I have HP Pavilion a1640n here: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp-pavilion-media-center/4505-3118_7-32103840.html and I have currently installed a nVidia Geforce 8600GTS with a 700Watt power supply. If you want to run two of these cards I need input more power? So, although I know it is not possible.
