Is it safe and effective way to leave my laptop connected to my network adapter for the night?

For now, I leave my laptop at home. Since no is removed (before starting school), I do not want to pay constant when the battery weakens. Can you leave connected to the outlet using the AC adapter during night and when not used (without disconnect)? Is it safe and uses a substantial amount of energy when I do it? Thank you.

It's okay if you leave it connected outlet. I do the same. The power management of laptop automatically shuts down once the battery is full, so that no damage to the battery and is perfectly safe. Constant charge cycles and battery drain would not be wise however, as it reduces battery life. If you concerned about the amount of energy passing through your diet worked all night, you can activate feeding patterns some of which turn off the screen, hard drives, etc. CPU after a period of time. You can see by going to Control Panel and search for properties of foods.
