Is it worth upgrading a Desktop with a motherboard that can only accept P4 Intel processors?

I ve got the 3 ghz now. Is it worth upgrading to a 3.6 for example and a new graphic card, or should i buy a new motherboard? Note that i don’t have TOO much money to spend..

Most programs benefit from having two cores available to it. My opinion is absolutely no, to your question. I suggest you save up 500-1000 dollars and get yourself a nice new PC. You probably don’t need more than two cores, 4 GB of RAM, and a mid level GPU.
