Laptop does not recognize the camera?
I just purchased a DYNEX FireWire 800 ExpressCard Adapter for my HP Touchsmart TX2. When I connected my camera FireWire and the FireWire card in your computer does not recognize. In the adapter when connecting the things he said that 1394 is bigger and complement the shape of a pentagon, and 1394b, that is smaller and rectangular. My operating system is Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit and the camera is a Sony Handycam Digital 8 (there are letters / numbers on the side that says DCR-TRV110NTSC) I'm not sure that the PIN of the cable, but look at some photos, I think is 6 pin 4 pin. So if anyone has any idea why this does not work, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you, but when you press add new hardware, said new hardware was not found.
try to start, control panel, add new hardware, then outside. Restarts the computer after connecting the camera? If not try that first. When you're adding new Hardar that can put on the CD that came with the device, the intention is? or check the option to choose the hardware from a list to try. Are you sure you have the correct cable and is installed in the right port? documents must have a view, you can go to help and information, check again. or try to uninstall the camera program, restart your PC and start from scratch, follow the instructions carefully. good luck!
