Which will cool my computers ram better copper or aluminum?
I want to keep the ram cool i just bought and was wondering what type of heat sink would keep it cooler copper or aluminum i also have a fan on top of each if it matters

Copper is the better choice. Copper conducts, as well as dissipates heat, about 1.8 times the effectiveness of aluminum. But copper costs around 2 to 3 times as more than aluminum, so copper heatsinks only need to be used on things putting off a lot of heat.
